UGANDA HEALTH EXHIBITION: A New Campaign to expose Loopholes in Uganda's Health Sector!
    • April 24, 2023 • 2 years ago

After a successful #KampalaPotholeExhibition  campaign last week, Cartoonist Dr. Jim Spire Ssentongo has once again ignited another social media campaign dubbed #UgandaHealthExhibition.

The campaign that kicked off on Monday morning aims at exposing the ills plaguing Uganda's health sector.

According to Ssentongo, the Health Campaign  is also meant to deliver feedback to state authorities directly and indirectly charged with health related matters.

"You've had all the time to work and speak, let's give you some feedback in the next two weeks. Listen to what we go through and feel. Don't get angry get concerned - and get working" he said.

While at it, Dr Ssentongo asserts that his call is meant to attract responses and reactions from people employed in the Health sector like Medical interns, state of Medical care in Uganda and also the general infrastructure in which health services are dispensed countrywide.

The campaign is expected to ignite responses and reactions from those in positions of power in the health sector, just like it did happen with the initial Campaign about the Potholes in Kampala - one which mounted pressure on KCAA aswell as drawing attention of the President who would later pass a budget to address the matter.

Dr. Ssentongo says, in the whilst of the Health sector, other agencies like UMEME, ERA, Uganda Police and the education sector are on high demand too and they should await their turn.
