In a shocking revelation, songstress Jackie Chandiru has disclosed how she attempted to end her precious life by committing suicide six times but all in vain.
The singer says that she tried to murder herself because of the negativity she was receiving from the public.
Jackie states that before and while in rehabilitation facility, people developed differing perceptions and started coming up with comments that didn't sit well with her.
The most painful part of it is that none of them was aware of where she was coming from, jot even what was troubling her life. They however in stead decided to spread what they believed was true.
According to the Gold digger hit maker, this never left her in her usual shape and she felt unwanted. Therefore she tried to end her life on six separate occasions but failed.
While speaking to Galaxy TV's Mr. Henrie, the Veteran recounted the time she was even assisted by a clinic to take her own life. Although she concealed the name of this clinic, she said that she went to this particular hospital and bought a combination of different drugs.
The former Blu 3 singer was completely sure that this would end her life. This particular pharmacy even told her how the combination would work.
Jackie was told to take the medicine using locally brewed alcohol known as waragi. However, when she woke up feeling a heavy headache and severe stomach ache. She could not even be convinced that heaven can make her feel pain. And since she wasn’t feeling hot, it couldn’t be hell. On pinching herself, she felt pain and figured out she was still alive.
“I have tried suicide on six different occasions but none was successful. At one time a certain pharmacy assisted me on how to carry it out because when you have money everything is possible. I bought a combination of different drugs and they told me to drink it with Kasese waragi. But on waking up, I was neither in heaven nor hell. I was still alive,” she said.
Furthermore, the singer aired out a piece of advice to all the youths out there who look up to musicians to be careful. According to Jackie, whatever is done in music videos such as smoking and boozing is always just showbiz.
It should be noted that Jackie Chandiru has for several years been battling with drugs that even made her disappear from the music scene for some time.
