Talented and gorgeous singer Flona has addressed rumors about her alleged romantic involvement with her former manager at CRK music label.
Recall that previously, Flona was signed under CRK Planet Limited but she quit the label after a short period of time of working together.
During her time with the label, there were speculations about a romantic affair between her and the label boss, Robert Kisozi.
However, in an interview with Spark TV, Flona dismissed these rumors as baseless and untrue.

She clarified that these rumors were one of the reasons why she chose not to renew her contract with the label. Additionally, Flona revealed that she was in a romantic relationship with her boyfriend while still signed under CRK, emphasizing that he has been supportive of her career.
She promised to introduce him to the public soon. Despite leaving CRK Planet, Flona's music career continues to thrive, and she believes her former management is pleased with her success in the industry.
Flona, whose real name is Florence Nankinga, gained popularity with her hit song ‘Kakigambe’. She is a rising star in Uganda's music scene, aiming to become one of the top artists of her generation. It seems that her dream is well on its way to becoming a reality.
Initially working as a cook for the Blue Note band, which is managed by CRK Planet, Flona's talent was discovered when she sang Whitney Houston’s ‘I Will Always Love You’ while cooking.
Impressed by her performance, CEO Richard Kisuze signed her to his team of artists. Flona has since captivated audiences with her soulful alto vocals in the Afro-pop genre.
She embarked on her first international music tour in Dubai, culminating in a performance at Chelsea Plaza Satwa during the Patwan Stars awards. Her musical prowess and entrepreneurial spirit as a young artist earned her the Woman of Distinction award 2021 from the Women of Valor foundation.

Flona has received numerous local awards, including Most Talented Rising Artiste, Breakthrough Artiste, Best Vocals, Best Creative Music Video, Best Breakthrough Artiste (Female), and Best Stylish Artiste at the Famous Teens awards. She has also been recognized with awards such as Best Stage Performer, Act to Watch, Most Talented Rising Star, Best RNB Song, Best Video of the Year, Best Stylist, and Best Stage Performer at the HI SkOOL awards 2021/2022.
Despite the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, Flona's career took off, leading her to release an EP of 6 songs as part of her album ‘The Debut of Flona’. Her music is available on major platforms like YouTube, Spotify, iTunes, and more.
