Swangz Avenue’s employee Joel Peter Wadero who is famously known as singer Vinka’s manager has been accused of domestic violence by his long-term lover identified as Essie Didi. Essie made news when she appeared on Sanyuka TV on Thursday with bruises on her neck and cuts all over her body. Her left wrist and fingers also had visible stitches, a sign that things were not going on well for her.
While talking to media, Essie explained that she has for a couple of years faced battering from her lover Joel who usually returns home in an improper mental state and pulls the Weasel on her all the time, battering her relentlessly. She even noted that sometimes Joel returns home drunk and he pounces on her and starts beating her over small issues, something that she is fed up of.
Essie was not all talk and no action as she went ahead to give evidence of the brutal treatment she was subjected to daily. Displaying the wounds on her body, Essie Didi expressed disgust in the man she once fell in love with and further noted that she even filed a case of Assault against Joel. According to Essie, the only thing she he wants is to let go of the relationship and to retrieve her property from Joel so that she can move on with her life.
When Joel was contacted by Sanyuka TV, however, to give his side of the story, he narrated that his lover is just tarnishing his name and dragging it in the mud. He mentioned that he is a man in the entertainment industry and he had a lot to lose, something his girlfriend knew and this is why she is throwing tantrums to hurt his image.

He went on to disclose that he is not a violent man adding that his girlfriend is just furious after he reported her to the police for vandalizing his property. Joel mentioned that this could be the pay back she has thought of and she is just lying about him being violent.
