Reports reaching our desk indicate that the gorgeous and super talented Disk Jockey, Dj Alisha has parted ways with NRG radio Uganda just after one year of dedicated service.
The infectiously energetic Dj Alisha joined NRG radio in May 2023 and she has been hosting the midmorning program dubbed "Am Show" alongside the charismatic Crysto Panda.
.Throughout the time she been at the station, Dj Alisha has gained a dedicated fan base as she captivated listeners with her positive energy.
Shockingly, on Friday May 3, Alisha has made the decision to leave the station after a year for reasons best known to her.
In her official statement, DJ Alisha explained that she carefully considered her options and ultimately chose to step away from radio in order to focus on her personal growth and journey.
"After much contemplation, I've decided to take a step back from radio to focus on my personal growth journey," part of her statement read m
She expressed her sincerest gratitude to the entire NRG Radio team and the listeners for their belief in her and for providing her with a platform to share her love for music with the world.
"It is with a heavy heart that I bid farewell to you all after one year at NRG Radio. My time here has been nothing short of amazing. I want to express my deepest gratitude to the entire NRG Radio team and listeners for believing in me and giving me the platform to share my passion for music with the world."she wrote.
Though details of her future plans remain undisclosed, DJ Alisha's message hinted at exciting possibilities;
"I carry with me the memories and experiences that we've shared, and I'm excited for what the future holds.
In the same vein, her now former bosses took their social media handle to say a good bye to Dj Alisha. NRG radio Uganda thanked her for the good memories and also stated that she will forever be missed.
"Words cannot define the beautiful beats ? and memories we have created together ?? You shall always have a place in our hearts ?Win BIG Fast." NRG wrote.
At the station, Alisha received an emotional farewell from colleagues who surprised her with roses.
