"I hate working with Nigerian Musicians because they are selfish." Winnie Nwagi.

Winnie Nwagi has done small projects with Nigerian Musicians before. This does not mean that things worked out in her favor however. Winnie Nwagi came out to mention that she hates working with Nigerian artistes because they are selfish and they are users in all senses.
According to Nwagi, Nigerian artists can of course do collabos with Ugandan artistes for as much as they want but they will never go all the way to push these songs in their Country, Nigeria yet here in Uganda, the Ugandans push the Nigerian music so well that it easily gains momentum, making Nigérians more popular in Uganda, something the Nigérians don't do for Ugandans in their country.
Winnie Nwagi gave a clear example of her collabo with Slim Prince dubbed "Fire dancer". This song became a major hit in Uganda because Winnie Nwagi pushed the song and marketed it so grandly. Back in Nigeria however, Slim Prince just sat on the song and did not make any effort to market it, something that showed Nwagi how selfish Nigerian artistes are.
During an interview with Galaxy FM,Nwagi explained that the Nigerian artistes are users who come to do collabos with Ugandans just so they can be promoted in Uganda yet they never promote Ugandans in their country (What a disappointment.) She went ahead to mention that in bars in Uganda, Nigerian music is played all the way yet it is not the same in Nigeria because Ugandan music is not valued in Nigeria.
"We love making collabos with Nigerian artistes. It is good because imagine a song with Burna Boy. It would be a big hit here in Uganda because you would push it so well here (in Uganda). He can even help you and shoot the video if he has time but that artist will not push the song in Nigeria. I don’t know why they feel sweet. I feel like I also personally resent them now. We have artists here who have done with them collabos but this music doesn’t play in their clubs, or anywhere. It stops here. They don’t push our music." Winnie Nwagi said.
