Recently, Cindy shocked the media with news that she was trying to be sabotaged by Victoria University in collaboration with Sheebah on stage during the Sheebah-Cindy battle. According to Cindy, her sound was terrible unlike Sheebah's perfect sound system. Cindy also revealed that she did not get to do a sound check before the actual battle yet Sheebah got to do her sound check in time.

This left Netizens angry with Victoria University Vice Chancellor Dr. Lawrence Muganga, labeling him conceited as he wanted to destroy Cindy's career on stage. Dr. Lawrence Muganga has however come out to dismiss these allegations by Cindy.

    Sheebah Cindy

Muganga denied these claims stating that there was no such conspiracy, either during the rehearsals or even at the main show. He went on to mention that Cindy had brought faulty equipment and that they had to replace them with new ones at the cost of the university.

He stated that according to the agreement, each artiste was meant to come with their own equipment, something that Sheebah did but Cindy failed to do. In the end, the University had to improvise at their own expense.

There was a time when Cindy’s own equipment which she brought herself, failed to work and what happened was that we got money and purchased new equipment and gave it to her and she was very happy.” He stated.

What left Netizens paralyzed however was that Dr. Muganga revealed that he is related by blood to Sheebah, something that left netizens with questions. He however added that this had no influence on the organization of the concert and this is because he is a professional.

Yes, she is my cousin's sister, but I am a professional,” Muganga stressed.
