There may not be a famous saying that goes “Be careful what you listen to" but am here to give you that piece of advice anyways.

Be careful what you listen to! I know hat there are times where you feel like you are in a pickle and there are decisions you could make to get you out of that tough situation.

That however does not mean you should just take advice from anyone who wishes to give it. It is good to seek counsel elsewhere but even when you seek it, do not listen to or take every single piece of advice that you are given.

This is because a beautiful piece of advice could turn your whole life around straight into a night mate! Advice will always stay the same honestly. It is majorly about you choosing what to actually listen to and what to ignore.

You need to separate the two because there is advice that you will receive and it will not be applicable to you. There is also advice that will simply not  work for you and also there is advice that is simply not realistic ( Don’t act like you have not experienced it.)

Education is the key to success

Education may be a key, but it is most definitely not the key that unlocks the door of success! We live in an age and era where you will be told to work hard in your studies because you will need the papers to get a good job and be successful.

As soon as your done working hard on your degree, you are then denied employment simply because the job was given to someone the Human Resource Manager knew or was related to!

Sometimes it is not just about your education but it is also about the vigor,  zeal, passion and hard work that you put in that will lead you to your success. However good it is to mind your studies, don’t let anyone lie to you about education being the key to success.

It is all about Experience.

Experience is very important indeed, but experience can be got from anywhere. Determination and passion however can only be mustered from within.

You could have all the experience this World has to offer but still not make it as far as you would have wished to but when you are determined and passionate about what you have set your mind to, then you definitely will go farther than you could ever imagine.

Learn from other people’s mistakes.

This is most definitely easier said than done! How do you even manage to learn from someone’s mistakes. You could never do it. Do you know that one person's meat is another one’s poison? What if someone close to you did something but got a bad result from it but you do the same thing and actually benefit from it?

Think about it. It is not  Bible truth that whatever doesn’t work for someone else wont work for you. If you ask me, this sounds like an excuse for you trying to live your life while mirroring someone else’s life. Stop stalking and get working!

Get examples from a successful person and try to emulate them.

I repeat. Stolen living like everyone else and try to do something original with your sweet life, child. When you emulate a successful person and he path that that person took to get to success, it will not automatically make you successful. Do you know what you will look like? A wannabe.

Try out different means. We all know there are quite a number of ways to kill a eat. If someone succeeded using one method, you could succeed while using another. You don’t have to use the same route to get to the market place!

You only live once.

Do not give excuses for wasting your life away because this piece of advice is only given and taken by those that don’t want to take responsibility for their life!

If you start living for now and you ignore the future, you could spend the rest of your future feeling sorry for yourself for ‘having lived once'

Wake up and work hard, make investments or go and do something with your life instead of wasting it away in the guise of having one life. Trust me you have a very long life ahead of you child.
