    • February 17, 2021 • 3 years ago

While recieving health equipment from one of the leading breweries in the country Nile Breweries, the permanent secretary for the Ministry of Health Dr. Diana Atwine hinted on the opening of bars.

"Bars will be opened. We're also aware that there some who're operating unlawfully but we'll get them. The schools have just been allowed to resume, now imagine if we open the bars as well. The bars will be opened hopefully when the Covid-19 vaccination begins." Said Dr. Atwine.

Uganda expects to receive the first batch of Covid-19 vaccination next month. And about 18 million doses are expected to come through. Vaccination however is expected to begin with health workers, security personnel in that order.

With just few weeks left to January, bar owners, performers and the party animals can continue praying and having their fingers crossed.
