Well according to reports making rounds on social media platforms its evidently clear that renowned pastor Aloysius Bugingo and his new catch Suzan Makula are being charged with three counts contrary to Ugandan marriage Act.
Due to these marriage criminal charges Makula and Bugingo will have to face Magistrate Stella Kwong Paculal on the 21 of January 2022.
Why are Bugingo And Makula Being Summoned.
According to Male Mabirizi and Robert Muhairwe (lawyers that placed charges against Makula and Bugingo), Bugingo was found to be engaged into processing a new marriage yet he is still married to Naluswa Teddy Bugingo and that’s why he is being dragged to courts of law.
The law still stipulates that any person who, being unmarried(Makula) goes through the ceremony of marriage with a person whom he or she knows to be married to another person(Pastor Bugingo married to Teddy, commits an offence and is liable on conviction to imprisonment for a period not exceeding five years.
Basing on the following law grounds Makula and Bugingo become totally liable in this matter, however what does society and Religion have to say on the matter?
Society acts as though divorce is normal though it remains totally immoral and exposes one’s dishonesty, lack of honor and Lack of integrity due to failure to keep vows made in church.
Unlike society’s view on divorce, Religion clearly as day emphasizes that its only death to do the married parties apart.
