Golola Moses who came out last week bitterly to express his dissatisfaction about Nabbanja's never reaching 100K has come out to say why he badly needed the money.
While receiving food aid from promoter Balaam Barugahara, the kick-boxer confessed how he was eagerly waiting for Nabbanja's promised money.
Nabbanja who happens to be the current prime minster of Uganda promised Ugandans UGX. 100,000 each for those who are considered to be in the vulnerable section of citizens. She said this was the relief the government of Uganda was providing this time because she saw it being easier than food distribution that happened last year still to the same vulnerable poor population.
Why did Golola in particular need Nabbanja's money
The popular Ugandan kick boxer said he did not personally need the money first of all but his fellow kick-boxers whom he takes care of at his "Golola Talent Academy" did.
He says the boxers who are under his care are dying of hunger and that the situation is becoming worse everyday of this second lockdown.
Agreeing that 100K is little money, Golola affirmed that it could feed his people for atleast a day or two given the few kilograms of posho it can purchase.
The wait for Nabbanja
After many days of waiting for her money, Golola decided to abandon his phone and concentrate on training for his upcoming match in South Sudan.
It's here where he gave up on the new prime minster and called upon promoters Balaam and Abitex who have previously minted money from sponsoring his kickboxing matches.
He said he was heavily disappointed with the promoters who have not checked on him during these 42 days well knowing he has an entire academy of boxers to feed.
The promoters save Golola Moses of Uganda
However, a few days later, promoter Balaam reached out to Golola and personally delivered a donation of 100kgs of posho and other food items like mukene, tomatoes, beans.
It's from this that promoter Abitex laughed at Balaam for delivering such small portion of food to Golola. He said this was a clear cut confirmation of Balaam's stingy nature.
Abitex then promised to quadruple Balaam's donation by helping Golola with half a tonne of posho and other food items in huge quantities any time soon.
