Roden Y popularly known as Kabako is one of the funniest musicians in the Ugandan Industry but he is also one of the reserved musicians who rarely make comments or interfere in other people's lives. The Weasel- Teta situation has however provoked a comment from Roden Y. In a funny video, dancehall singer Roden Y Kabako has issued an apology to Sandra Teta on behalf of Weasel and the entire entertainment industry for all the pain and hurt she has gone through at the hands of Weasel.
In an unfortunate series of events topped by allegations of Weasel violently beating his baby mama Sandra Teta under the influence of liqour, the past two weeks have witnessed back and forth submissions from the two lovers versus Daniella Atim, Mama Ghetto, and several other netizens, not forgetting all the fellow artistes that have come out to condemn domestic violence, urge Weasel to change his character as well as to offer a shoulder for Tea to lean on.
Somehow, some key people in the entertainment industry have ignored the issue, leaving it to the involved parties to drive it to a conclusion. They have decided to mind their business but however, there are a few who have come out to address the issue at hand. Roden Y is apparently one of the touched citizens of this country who have come out to show support for Sandra Teta.
While appearing on Spark TV in an interview, the singer revealed that people make mistakes but what solves these issues is an apology. Kabako asked Weasel to accept his fault and say sorry to Sandra for everything he has put her through. Further more on in the interview, the singer decided to apologise to Teta on behalf of the Goodlyfe singer and the entire music industry.
“At my home, we do not really quarrel about anything. We’re always happy. There is this word “sorry”, it’s a very cheap word just like “excuse me.” It’s very small. If you annoy someone, tell them sorry, it’s very small,” Kabako said
He went on to say that the entire industry is apologetic to all their fans in accordance to all these happenings that are going on and the hope that their humble fans can forgive them.
"As Ugandan musicians, we are sorry. We extend our apology to all the fans. Forgive us, we are sorry. We shall change our ways, Weasel will change his ways because that’s not how we normally behave, we give respect" he said
