On Saturday, May 11, Ugandan media personality and social media influencer Sheilah Gashumba broke the internet with the shocking news regarding her break up with Rickman Manrick.
The former NBS TV presenter took to her X handle (formerly known as Twitter) and confirmed that she and her boyfriend Rickman Manrick were no longer an item.
While this decision may come as a shock to some of you, we would like to assure you that it was reached with respect and understanding for each other's paths," part of the statement read.
Rickman Manrick and Sheilah Gashumba have been in a romantic relationship for about three years after the later broke up with her ex-boyfriend God’s Plan.
Just this year, gossip spilled through various corridors of Kampala city that the two are looking forward to taking their relationship to the next level.
The cause of the break is yet to be established as she kept it elusive in the statement she shared online.

Rema Namakula and Eddy Kenzo
Their breakup was confirmed in 2019, but, according to the songstress, who is better known as Rema, they had been apart for like two years.
The Love commissioner singer moved in with the Big talent boss around 2013 when she severed ties with her then mentor Bebe Cool.
Her departure from his crew even soured Cool's relationship with Kenzo though they have recently grown closer.

In October 2020, Nina Roz introduced fellow singer and producer Daddy Andre to her parents in a colourful ceremony.
Roz and Daddy Andre, real name Andrew Ojambo, dated for a while, and their relationship was widely publicised when T.V. host Douglas Lwanga shared their Kukyala ceremony pictures on social media. Their relationship ended just six months after the ceremony.
Kemi Sera and Hajj Haruna Mubiru
The affair between the two had been kept a secret to the public until when Kemi Sera came out in June last year to accuse Mubiru of domestic violence.
The subsequent trauma would lead her to Pastor Bugembe’s Nansana Church where she successfully sought mental recovery. She made a public appeal to raise her rent as her landlord had already started threatening to throw her out of the house.
Sasha Brighton and businessman Herbert Habib Shonga
In 2019, Herbert dumped over a decade long baby mama Doroth Nkoma Shonga and ran with former New Eagles’ singer Sasha Brighton.
The excited lovebirds would even out a song in which Shonga acted as a vixen as Sasha sang. The song was titled “Kawomera”. But as of now, the two are no more after Brighton coming up to announce she wad tired of crying all the time in her relationship with Shonga.
