On on 23rd of January , singer Mowzey Radio did not know that it would be his last day to see day light on Earth. Many theories have come up on what happened that day but today , Washington narrated the full story in a local interview.
On that day Washington a local producer in Uganda was heading to Radio's home dubbed "Neverland" that is in Makindye. He normally goes there to work on some projects for Radio and Weasel since he produces many of their songs but on that day Radio told him that he wanted to go to Entebbe to inspect his site and probably pay some little money to the hardware shops that were demanding him.
The two entered the car at about 3pm after meeting with Weasel and his friend from Sweden to whom they said "bye" and then drove away. Their car had 3 people including "Shine" a friend to Washington.
So Radio that day surprised Washington with his conversation where by he was preaching to him about life and how we should love each other and work together this year "2018". The singer further shocked him when he spoke about the Bible.
On reaching Entebbe , they pay money to some hardware shop specifically in Nkumba then they drive to the site around Caanan Estates by the sides of Lake Victoria.
While on the site he gets a phone call from a friend called Pamela whom he claims is a security operative that has been helping him to protect the site from people who steal construction materials whenever he is away.
Pamela invites him to one of the bars in Entebbe called "D'bar" and they all head to the bar but Washington tells Radio that they should not waste a lot of time at the bar since he doesn't even drink. At around 5.30pm when they arrived at the bar , Wash clearly told Radio to spend not more than 5 minutes at the bar as they all entered the place.
Pamela welcomed them as she introduced a group of her friends. So Washington and Shine who were non alcoholics sat on one side and Radio sat with Pamela and her friends who included the owner of the bar.
Shortly after they had sat , Washington developed a bad feeling and tried to convince Mowzey that they need to leave immediately but the singer insisted to wait longer at around 7.30pm. So Washington at this point stepped out and rested in his car for about 10 minutes since he had a small headache already.
After the 10 minutes he left his car to fetch his friend "Shine" so that they would go together to the car in a quest to convince Radio when he sees them going away. In the car, they sat for around more 10 minutes after which they met Pamela outside the bar whom they told to convince Radio to come for the second time if not , he takes a taxi by himself since he is a grown man.
Washington insists and walks back into the club and finds out that Radio and his friends have shifted from inside the club to the outside part on a sort of a high table. There were about 5 people on the table that were not sobber since their voices were all raised.
Washington noticed that they were over laughing but Radio was not happy about it , then the producer knocked on him telling him "We need to leave". But in his own words he said "Unfortunately God had already planned it, it was his destiny".
So Washington decided to sit next to Radio who on recieveing a bottle of whisky, most probably "black label" which came half way started pouring it in the glasses on the table but during this , the other people on the table were dissing him in vernacular which sparked off his anger making him pour whisky around the table especially towards the manager who appeared to be saying something ill about him.
At first no one reacted because they appeared like they were all enjoying considering a lot of music that was playing in the background. So they sat for about 3 minutes and Wash asked Mowzey about what he had done? but the musician said that they knew what wrong they had done to him.
After about 5 minutes the owner of the bar gets very angry and he throws the whole table away and comes towards Radio but fortunately they were separated. Troy and Hassan who are bouncers at the club held the manager and took him back into the club as people scattered since bottles were thrown all over the place.
So Washington shouted to Pamela and Radio such that they go to the car where now they started walking out of the club properly. On the way out through a small corridor where the three were nearly getting out of the club , one of the bouncers who was tall snatched Radio from Pamela's hands and threw him on the Ground in the blink of an eye.
On throwing the "Neera" singer down , the bouncer ran so fast away from Pamela and Wash who also tried to chase after him but all efforts to catch him were futile.
Washington who was already shouting "stop fighting" witnessed Mowzey being thrown on the ground where he heard his skull crack.
It was so bad that he has to check if he was still breathing and on turning the head , he saw that the musician had gone into real comma according to his eyes that were not making any movement.
They lifted Radio together with Pamela and Hassan to Washington's car and they drove fast to a nearby hospital called Emmanuel Hospital in Entebbe for first Aid where there was a bit of delay. He was taken into a room where the doctors simply put drips on him thinking it was something normal.
Washington insisted telling then that he needed a scan on his head because that is where the real problem was but they instead referred him to Nsambya hospital where on arrival , they found the Intensive Care Unit full.
One of the doctors there then referred the unconscious musician to Case Clinic that readily had a spot for him where he spent his last four days on Earth without ever waking up from the comma until he finally died on the 1st of Feb 2018.
Producer Washington confirmed that Troy whose photos have been circulating on social media is the true killer and no one should look further because his Face will never be forgotten by him.
