The Black magic entertainment signee had one of the most critically acclaimed and successful records ‘sango’ featuring Eddy Kenzo. And she is not yet done with this era! Martha released a brand new tune ‘Nkulinze’ as her new single.
The track is quite a change of pace and vibe to the majority of the music she does. This adds to versatility she bares.It doesn’t have a kindandali and synth pop inspired production and is essentially a laid back, contemporary, zouk infused afro beat tune. The track about the optimism around relationships and does have an instantly catchy hook to the chorus. She sings of a lover who speaks of how their bond is strong and she couldn’t wait any longer to make it forever as they had known themselves from day one. Martha’s vocal performance easily draws you in, but it does not really flow with the rest of the record in some parts of the song . It might have been better off with more vibrant beats making the song more danceable than a radio and tv song. Having said that, Bashkiller the producer of this ear warming tune did justice in portraying the artists potential on the song .
