The U.S Secretary of state Antony Blinken expressed his discontent yesterday with an address accusing many countries of hypocrisy towards the lsreal war with Hamas. Blinken went ahead to question many countries as to why they didn't ask Hamas to surrender but instead brokered for an end to the war." lf the war ends and Hamas remains, it will not be in the interest of the world" he said 
The diplomat termed the demands made towards the victim as unfair and and that similar demamds should also be made of the aggressor who opened up the war with 7th October, 2023
attcaks and has since then seen Israel vow to destroy and wipe out Hamas from the Gaza area.These remarks came as the UNSC negotiated a resolution for a pause in the war but had rather been postponed by the U.S. for the third time in three weeks.
