South African rap powerhouse Nasty C touched down at 2 AM this morning at Entebbe International Airport, sparking excitement across Uganda’s music scene. The award-winning rapper, songwriter, and producer was warmly received by enthusiastic fans and members of Talent Africa Group, who are organizing his highly anticipated Kampala show.
The celebrated artist, known for hits like SMA, Zulu Man, and Black and White, is in the country for the Ivyson Tour Kampala Edition, one of the most talked-about events on this year’s entertainment calendar. Kampala fans were instrumental in “unlocking” the stop through an online vote, making it a special addition to Nasty C’s tour schedule.
The show is set for Friday, November 7, 2025, at Motiv, Bugolobi, and will serve as a major highlight of the second edition of the Aumex Conference — Uganda’s leading music business gathering. The collaboration between Talent Africa Group and Aumex aims to deliver not just a concert, but a cultural experience that blends music, networking, and empowerment.
Speaking to journalists upon arrival, Nasty C expressed his enthusiasm for performing in Uganda for the first time.
“I can’t wait to connect with my fans in Kampala,” he said. “The energy here is incredible, and I’m looking forward to an unforgettable night. This tour is special because it’s all about the fans, and I’m grateful for their support.”
He will share the stage with a dynamic lineup of Ugandan stars, including Echoled, City Girl, Expect Xhavi, Son of Aboda, Vini Mercy, Tungi, and DJ Tony, showcasing some of the country’s finest rising talent.
Aly Allibhai, CEO of Talent Africa Group, said the concert represents more than just music.
“We are thrilled to bring Nasty C to Kampala as part of the Ivyson Tour,” he noted. “This event not only celebrates incredible talent but also highlights Uganda’s vibrant and growing music scene. It’s going to be an unforgettable experience.”
