The city’s entertainment scene is about to light up as South African rap sensation Nasty C gears up to headline the Ivyson Tour Kampala edition on Friday, November 7, 2025, at Motiv, Bugolobi. The show is one of the most anticipated events on Uganda’s entertainment calendar this year, blending star power, music, and industry insight in one explosive weekend.
The concert is being staged by Talent Africa Group in partnership with Aumex, as part of the second edition of the Aumex Conference — a platform designed to empower and connect African music professionals with global opportunities.
Known for his slick flow and chart-topping hits like SMA, Zulu Man, and Black and White, Nasty C continues to dominate the African hip-hop scene with his distinct sound and lyrical finesse. His Kampala stop on the Ivyson Tour is expected to draw fans from across East Africa, marking another major milestone for the region’s live music culture.
Adding a Ugandan flavor to the night, Nasty C will be joined by a talented lineup of homegrown acts including Echoled, City Girl, Expect Xhavi, Son of Aboda, Vini Mercy, Tungi, and DJ Tony Sheilla Sa. Their performances are expected to set the tone for an evening of cross-border collaboration and celebration of African talent.
Beyond the music, the Ivyson Kampala Tour also serves as the grand finale of the 2025 Aumex Conference, which runs from November 6 to 8. The three-day event features masterclasses, panel discussions, and networking sessions aimed at strengthening the business side of music in Uganda. Participants will learn from executives representing top global music brands such as Mavin Records, Warner Music Group, and Virgin Music, among others.
A special highlight of this year’s conference is the Women in Music brunch and panel, a dedicated space for conversations around female leadership, empowerment, and inclusion in the music industry.
