When news hit the internet that musician Weasel had beat up his baby mama Sandra Teta, everyone that was concerned about what they saw was armed to the teeth, ready to stop the predator. The most shocking revelation the entire World was not expecting was that the victim was not ready to stop the harm that was being done unto her.
Everyone right from Teta's social circle all the way to her friends, family, in-laws and even third party watchers were all ready to fight for her. Maybe they got into the wrong fist fight, something they were not meant to do. Putting pressure on Weasel, Daniella At?m, ex wife to Jose Chameleon put more power into this by releasing evidence of the domestic violence that was happening to Teta.
Daniella went ahead to call upon other key players, urging them to support Teta because all she needed was courage to walk away from such an abusive relationship. Teta however turned down the offer, claiming that she was doing alright with her hubby and that if she needed any help, she would contact her heroin Daniella Atim.
People like Mama Ghetto, wife to Butcherman also came out to try and persuade Teta to see through the manipulation of Weasel to no avail. She still remained stuck to her hubby like a loyal wife. Even urges from celebrities like Sheebah and the likes did not persuade her because she refuses to turn her back on weasel.
The Ugandan police had also started pursuing a case against Weasel once these pieces of evidence were submitted online but according to Fred Enanga, the police spokesperson, their efforts to get to the root of the matter have been in vain since the victim will not even come out to make a statement.
The woman left the country. We can’t effectively work on the file when the victim is not interested in the case,” says Enanga.
Sandra said in a video that she is going to handle her issues with Weasel without outside interference and she went ahead to plead for people like Daniella Atim and Mama Ghetto who have been helping her to justice to back off and let her be the driver of her own life. But how will the justice system be able to help victims who are not willing to admit that they are indeed victims?
