Veteran radio presenter Bryan Mckenzie who rose to fame working as a presenter on defunct Hot 100FM and worked for other media houses such as; WBS TV, Spirit FM, Kampala FM, Urban Television and Radio City 97 FM has finally come out with his newest project. He has finally opened up his own radio station.
On June 29, 2018, Mckenzie then quit his job at Radio City by announcing that his time as a radio presenter was over and concentrated on his then new entertainment franchise which was termed as the Keller PR. He however has not been gone for long as he has returned to presenting in a jiffy.
The biggest difference is, he is not only a presenter but also a CEO with his own station. He has called his station KIIS FM 100.9 and it is on this station that he will be presenting a morning show from 6am to 10am.
When Hot 100 FM closed in March this year over financial struggles, word spread that it was bought by Capital FM. This rumor has turned out to be false however because the Frequency is back on air under the new name of KIIS FM 100.9 and McKenzie is now the big boss behind this great station.
Many had not even noticed there was a new station up until he ran to his social media to thank those that tuned in even without knowing the station in general. He mentioned that he was grateful for the support and called upon multitudes to keep tuning in in the morning for his program.
"Back on Radio, this time round for a long long time. Thanks to you that tuned in this morning with little to no notice. Much appreciated. Tune in every Morning 6am to 10am. KIIS FM Uganda" he posted
