The year hasn't been any good with increasing number of military insurgencies the United States has had to tackle placing the country between a rock and a hard place with a challenge of countering upto six major regional conflicts.
Speaking to the Pentagon on Tuesday, the Secretary of defence Lloyd James Austin declared the year as one based on military upheavals the notable ones being the Ukraine conflict, the Houthis Red sea attacks and the lsrael Palestine conflict which has forced the country to push its defence funding by $50 billion.
Unfortunately the country hasn't gained ground anywhere with the Ukraine conflict turning in favour of Moscow which has no objective of changing their offensive.
The Israel Palestine conflict has also taken turn with an increase in civilian deaths sparking off public condemnation thus luring the United states to ask Israel to scale down its attacks which has thus attracted brutality from various militant group with the Hezbollah of Lebanon and Houthis of Yemen throwing attacks on the "victim" thus intensifying the regional conflict.
