Bobi Wine voted as Y! Africa person of the year
    • December 30, 2020 • 5 years ago

Kyagulanyi Robert Ssentamu alias Bobi Wine can't stop winning people's hearts across the globe. While he was being flown to his home in Magere over the Kalangala incident, little did he know he'd end the day with another victory.

The editorial board of Y! Africa has today awarded presidential candidate Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu the person of the year 2020.

The award, which is given to individuals of Nigerian origin as a way of recognizing their most visible influence and archievements and Kyagulanyi's archievements can obviously speak for themselves.

From making a name in Ugandan music industry for almost 20years, to joining politics and spearheading campaigns against injustices, the awarding committee saw him fit for the award.

He however beat big name personalities like Dr. Ngozi Okonjo - Iweala, Amandou Sall, Kumi Naido and Winnie Byanyima. Congratulations to the bad man from Kamwokya.
